Debi is our receptionist and has been with Heritage since June of 2001. She grew up in Oklahoma, but has lived all over the United States. She has worked in the veterinary field since 1981. Her favorite pastimes are traveling and cooking. She showed her first dog, a Rough Coated Collie, in grade school and has been active in showing ever since. Aside from working with the IW National Rescue, she and her husband and daughter now show Irish Wolfhounds, Spinone Itanlianos and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She also has cats. She and a co-worker in 1985 launched Tulsa's Pet a Pet program which takes therapy animals to hospitals and nursing homes to help keep and nurture the human and animal bond. Her long term goals are to continue to work in the veterinary field, to help people find their perfect pet, and to help pets find their permanent home.
